Actually no I'm not mad. You're just plain wrong if you think they are incapable of ever winning a championship with Harden as the best player. Like I said they may never win one with him because the West still goes through San Antonio and Golden State. But to say a top 5 player in the association is incapable of winning a championship is just plain dumb.

If he wasn't so damn big, I'd punch that whiny count right in his face.

Dude is the ultimate bitch

Carmelo Anthony led his team to a Championship in an incredible run when he was 18 years old.

I just don't see what he's lacking. I think he can have the drive.

Kobe was a spoiled prima donna ball hog chucker too. You don't think Melo would win a title on those Lakers rosters, with Phil?

He may not...it won't be due to lack of talent though. Plenty of all time greats never won a ring.

KoMe is the exception, not the rule. Selfish players don't win titles, but he got lucky with Shaq in his prime. That's why KoMe hasn't done anything post-Shaq, despite not really dropping off ability or talent wise.

Melo and Harden are too selfish to win titles. Their only hope is to have a Hall of Fame center to help them out like Shaq or Gasol. Dwight isn't HOF, Melo has never really had a real center like Shaq, Amare doesn't count.

ETA: You should quit discussing basketball. Period. First your Kristaps thread and now this in the same day.

I hope you ignore my advice and continue to entertain, though

It's time for us Houston fans to realize and admit that D12 has already reached his ceiling. It would be wise for Morey to at least see what the market is like for him.

I know what you're doing and I'm just posting to say...I don't care.

Y'all saying he will never win a championship really doesn't bother me because fact of the matter is that Houston has a better shot at winning one with him than without him right now. So for that reason I'd gladly take the top 5 player and at least have a fighting chance than be floundering at the bottom.

Dwight on the other hand can kick rocks for all I care. When he's good, he's great. Unfortunately good Dwight nights don't come consistently enough and at this point he's become more of a role player when he's having average Dwight nights, which happen more often than they should for a player of his caliber.

Perhaps Coward should have developed some semblance of a post game...as it stands his game is aging like pruno from a toilet in Angola.
