re: Durant jumped the gun on FA decision before meeting with Steph

quote:Its incredible that the best player in the world could be so soft. Also he’s just way out of touch if he really thought he’d get to come in, win a championship and get the credit for it being his championship. He had that chance in OKC and he bailed.
I also don’t think he realized people would react so harshly to his decision, and worse, minimize the accomplishments, especially after it turned out well with LeBron and turned out particularly well a few weeks before his decision (Cavs championship). That being said, this was a foolish since those super teams were only super teams because Lebron was on them; the Warriors were already a super team, coming off one championship and were a play or two away from another one on top of being the most winningest team of all time.

Simmons said the announcement came out because it was going to leak out so KD’s team got ahead of the story

You really went full retard in here. Congrats.

Green getting suspended and Bogut getting hurt especially had more to do with losing that series than Lebron “going god mode”
If not for injuries in the playoffs/finals series it highly likely GS wins 5 straight

Crazy how right he is, isn't it?

He probably doesn’t know that Love got knocked out of game 2 and missed game 3 because a GS player hit him in the head so hard.
But, but, but Draymond missed one game and then got beat twice in a row in elimination games, one being at home

Don’t forget how important andrew bogut’s missing 16 minutes per game.
Also, it’s very convenient that all of these “if they were healthy” people seem to forget that the cavs won 2 games in 2015 with Matthew Dellavedova as their second best player.

What are you talking about? That was very much discussed in the conversation

Sorry, should’ve been more clear. I realize yall did earlier in the thread. But this guy certainly doesn’t:

Why would he go to Golden State to have his own team....that was clearly someone else's team before you got there bro.

Durant joined a great team in place, one that had won a title and the most games in regular season history, and expected accolades for being “the man” immediately. What a bitch.
2 healthy years with Durant- 2 titles
Durant gets injured- no titles
And that’s coming from someone who said they didn’t need KD
That was Durant’s team, not Steph’s

And of course we can always rely on WBB’s infamous “knowledge” to further prove my point

Its crazy how soft Durant is that this actually a plausible scenario
It's crazy how much I don't give a shite. Why an I here?
The fricking WNBA doesn't have this much contrived drama.

quote:how the frick did he not know that going in???? Steph was drafted by the org and was doing GOAT shooter type of stuff before KD came
Durant wants to be the guy, wants his own team, but knew that would never happen at Golden State regardless of what he did.
