Crazy how people still do this. I coached a Dixie all star team this summer and the amount of paperwork and affidavits is staggering. I had to carry a binder with birth certificates, player photos, attested addresses, and medical waivers to every tournament game.

All it is going to take is one player’s family making an accusation about why this happened and it will be reversed.

The exact same team (Tulsa) had this same issue last year and at least one team they eliminated issued protests. Little League denied the protests in 2025.
This year, multiple teams issued protests before playing said Oklahoma team. A couple were denied but eventually one was upheld as it was based on filing improper paperwork on residency requirements. Basically fraud.
Oklahoma figured they got away with it last year...might as well give it another shot.
A shame youth sports gets to this point but people will always try to skew/cheat the system if given the opportunity.

These all star teams are nothing but travel ball teams now days that sign up for little league and play the bare minimum of games to qualify for all stars. Rosters are pretty much set before the season even begins.

yeah, the worse part about it is the pretend appearance of that these are just your typical 1990's rec ball good ole kids making a run. No, its travel ball kids that have a fricking huge ego to go make a run in the national retard tournament that gets put on espn on 200 ft fields when most the kids are already 13 yrs old.

The Oklahoma team is 100% a travel ball team. They have played hundreds and hundreds of games together. We have run into them at just about every major tournament we have played in. They are a very solid team.
The Louisiana team is not a travel ball team. Or at least not in the way the OU team was. Now they may have some kids who played travel ball together. But I can 100% promise you that Louisian team did not ALL play travel ball together and just insert themselves into LL all stars.

Yeah, another byproduct of travel ball is that it creates many kids who are little turds. They walk around with their flat bills, slides, and gigantic sunglasses like they are God’s gift to anyone around them, and their parents just egg it on.

So, there are rules in sports that if you don't follow will get your kicked out, but we as a nation don't have rules for voter ID laws? That makes sense.

Why the hell do people watch that trash? I think it’s trashy enough that people watch 12 year old boys in the Baseball Little League World Series.

It could just be a technicality or missing paperwork. Doesn’t necessarily mean the cheated on purpose. In club soccer, you need birth certificates, medical releases, player passes, and rosters at every tournament. Most don’t check, but at the state, regional and higher classifications they do. And it all better be correct. That’s just the way it is now. You guys read a 2 paragraph statement and want to hang everybody and label everybody a cheater.

Softball dads are trashy as frick, in general.
Im sure there are some good ones but usually its some fricking loser who thought he should have gone pro in baseball, then ended up with daughters.
I knew one guy who used to take his kids out of school to go get extra batting practice. The one girl was big (like him) and he thought she would be the shite. The other girl was little and he treated her second class. They had shitty grades and he wondered why the older one didnt get scholarships. The younger one stopped talking to him completely. And his wife left him for a waffle house cook.

No one wants to hang anyone, but c’mon, man. I’d put this as some “accidental” administrative error at about 2% likelihood.

I don't know facts, but knowing a bit about the team, this is sort of an educated guess.
Kids have to live within a certain area to qualify for a specific LL team. The OU team was mostly from within that area, but a few were not (this part I know is 100% factual). They probably fudged some information to get the few kids from out of zone eligible to play with them. (This is the educated guess part).

You can't be serious. Go pull the roster of the Louisiana team and do a name search on USSSA Fastpitch....I will wager a large sum of money they are all travel ball players and the majority of them play on the same team.
I even saw a post by their team stating they had 9 girls on the Eastbank team!
