Three things. 1. Its been proven time and time again the cap does not exist for the Redskins. 2. Its not my money. 3. Chris Mortensen and the rest of the talking heads at Espn can go frick themselves aside from Schefter. I actually believe everything he says because him and Shanahan are buds. If you want a pulse on the Skins follow Schefter. So much bs shot around the past few weeks. He got benched in Philly. The only thing bad about the benching was the timing, that was beyond idiotic. Having said that, I see McNabb in DC for two to three more seasons max. And I expect him to put on a show tonight. 3b. frick chris mortensen

This is the same team that brought J. Russell in for a try out a few weeks ago, right?
WTF?!?!

When taking into account the entire situation, that is the biggest contract fail the League has seen in quite some time. No one should be surprised that it's coming from DC.

Skins are going to regret this one for many years to come.

another smooth move by the Skins front office.

No wonder they haven't won since The Danny took over. As a Redskin fan since the 1983 Super Bowl, this is beyond embarrassing and getting really old. The only thing that would have made it worse is if they would have traded away their 2nd and 3rd round pick for the right to sign their own guy.

Chill out, it is not that bad, this FO knows the cap better than anyone. You as a Skins fan should know that.
"(18) Any increase in a player's Salary for the current League Year, if the NFL Management Council does not receive notice of the salary terms of such an executed extended or renegotiated contract prior to 4:00 p.m. (New York Time) on the Monday of the tenth week of the regular season.
Analysis: The deadline for adding non-prorated salary to a player's contract is monday of week 10. After that, any increase in salary gets prorated as though it is a signing bonus."
Bruce knows what he is doing

I'd really be shocked if the contract truly guarantees more than $10-$15 million.
