For some unexplainable reason there will be people in this thread that say he just hasn’t been in the right spot

Man, they refused to release him so he could play in the XFL only so they could cut him now? Ice cold.

I’m not going to act like he was some amazing player but I think he got a raw deal. I mean, Sam freakin Darnold and Mitch Kissentitties are still starting.

Never forget the UCLA/TAMU comeback. No matter what you think of his personality, politics, etc, he gave us one magical night on a Pasadena September evening.

Yeah, TAMU can make the opposition look great. Thank you Kevin. Thanks for the greatest comeback in CFB history.

Chosen-Rosen.

And thank you Gus for being on the call.

It took a magical confluence of events...You needed TAMU, then you needed a sucky UCLA program and then you needed Gus Johnson...and everyone played their part.

Both of those guys are 10x the QBs that Rosen is. Seriously, let’s compare Rosen’s numbers to Trubisky’s. Trubisky’s career completion percentage is 63%. Rosen’s career completion percentage is 55%. Trubisky’s career touchdown percentage is 60% higher than Rosen’s while having an interception percentage that is 60% lower. Trubisky’s yards per attempt is also a yard higher than Rosen’s. And people say Rosen has been unlucky in his situation. Well, all highly drafted QBs go to bad situations. The Jets and Browns are terrible franchises yet Darnold and Mayfield has performed way better than Rosen ever has.

couldn't believe he got drafted so high based on arm talent. it was pretty clear in college he wasn't a gamer.

i know their defense was bad (which actually helped him put up numbers) but his final season they got beat 7 fricking times. how do you go 4-5 in the weak arse pac-12 and get drafted in the top 10?

Lost to Washington 23-44
Lost to Utah 17-48

You need to go back and read all of the scouting reports. The guy is a tremendous talent. Height, athletic ability, good arm and wicked smart. He needs to sit behind an established vet for a couple of years. But he's rich enough and has other interests. So maybe he just walks away. Sometimes guys just miss..

Unexplainable? The 2018 Arizona Cardinals were the worst offense in the NFL and hired a new coach that had a history with the best prospect in the 2019 draft who happened to be the perfect QB his offense. The 2019 Miami Dolphins traded their 2 best offensive players (Laremy Tunsil and Kenny Stills) a week before the season started for draft picks and named Rosen the starter in week 3 - after losing their first 2 games by a combined score of 102-10. They basically tanked the season with the intention of getting their franchise QB they had planned on after missing out on a QB in the 2018 draft when they had the #11 pick and the four franchise QB’s they identified were all selected in the top 10 picks. Then they got the guy that tanked for. That doesn’t explain anything?
