With this strike zone it's legitimately irresponsible to throw a ball over the plate
There have been 8 or 9 walks, 18 runs scored, and people think the zone is outrageously big.
Imagine if they were being squeezed.

If kenley was being planned for two innings, he probably should have started the 7th against the top and middle of the lineup

Agree. He’s had the quick hook the whole series. I understand the pen has been used a lot lately, but damn, where was the hook here.

Man this game is awesome to watch!!! As an Indians fan, I know what y'all are going through. Baseball is in the midst of a renaissance!! All the good teams are the teams with GREAT young talent. The All Star game was the youngest average age ever. I think it was like 24 or something. With the NFL in free fall, baseball is capitalizing on last year's World Series and this years is right up there! Love it!!!
NFL is not happy tonight.

What am I looking at on that statcast tweet? It's only happened once, or the fact it was a routine fly when it happened?
Since Statcast has existed, a ball hit at that launch angle and speed off the bat has only happened once and it was a shallow pop fly.
Essentially what it means is that Houston's LF porch is ridiculously shallow and in any other park it's a pop up.

i am shocked that no one has gotten tossed from this game for talking balls/strikes.

That one wasn't a strike but I'd prob just be swinging at anything 3-2 at this point
