Do the Steelers let Bell play if he reports next week?

If it were me, I wouldn't let him practice or play...I don't give a shite if he is getting paid 800k/week.

Yes, they let him play.

Unless they want an absolute media shitshow on their hands.

Nothing against LB (this is a business), but his running style is dramatically different from JC. They are now in a rhythm run blocking for him. For better or worse, let JC finish the season as the starter.

Nah. Here’s what I would do. Rest JC for the next 8 games are so, giving bell 25-30 touches per game. Wear his arse out all the way to week 1 of the playoffs, then reinsert Connor

Get the o-line to “forget” to block on his first hand off

They will play him. He’ll probably get hurt like Earl Thomas. It will be a talking heads field day for a few days. He’ll sign somewhere else as a free agent.

I suspect he will get hurt before the season is over. This hold out is going to backfire immensely on him.

Naaa, they'll sit the second best back in the league to prove a point.

Drafting him in fantasy football has killed me.

The guy has completely shite all over the organization, no way I reward him with playing time.

Well they will, unless they trade him.

The steelers are the third best team in their division right now. They’re going to play their best players regardless

Yeah, you play Bell. You squeeze as much out of him as you can before he leaves in FA.

They are better than Cincinnati and Cleveland.

Not Baltimore, at least right now.

There is nothing Bell would love more than not playing for the Steelers after having reported and starting to receive paychecks.

That would be the best possible outcome for him.

I'd give him 45 carries in his first game back to send him a message

I’m sure he won’t enjoy being put on a two week roster exemption and the Steelers lowballing the hell out of him when they do it.

Nah, they trade him to the Giants. That way he and OBJ can see which player can out "Prima Dona" the other for media attention-----and the loser can sulk even more.
