The Rams are getting 53% of the bets (total money wagered) to cover the spread at -4.5.

The reason the betting is somewhat even between the two teams is that the Bengals are getting 75% of the bets on the moneyline...go figure...
So if the Rams win but don't cover, the "house" cleans up.

Interesting.

Bengals seem like a team of destiny.

Burrow is a good story.

Stafford is very good, but does really dumb shite sometimes.

Bengals D is pretty damned good.

He makes a Stafford throw at least once a game.

Like that pop-up fly ball he threw against the Niners in the 4th quarter that was dropped for an INT and could've sealed the deal for the Niners.

If the Rams fall behind and Stafford thinks "he has to make plays" look out for trouble ahead. Rams gotta stay in the driver's seat...Burrow isn't going to do anything stupid if they have a lead.

Teams that are heavily favored in the Super Bowl should be afraid.

Pretty sure I saw these exact same threads for the Bengals-Raiders, Bengals-Titans, and Bengals-Kansas City. I think there are reasons they play the games. One of those is guys like Joe Burrow who just make plays and make the things that seem unlikely n paper happen.

quote:

People think Joe vs. Rams will be the 2nd installation of Tom Brady beat Rams in 2001.

I think people think of it closer to Joe Namath vs the the Colts except Joe Burrow is statistically far superior, really in another stratosphere from Namath.

quote:

Rams is a better team. Bengals was so lucky to get into super bowl. If Kansas can make one more play, the Bengals will be out.

Do better on your sentence structure and content. Rams are, Bengals were and Kansas City. The Chiefs play in Missouri and are headquartered in Missouri, so in no world is Kansas an appropriate moniker for the Kansas City Chiefs.

quote:

The game will not be close. Bengals will score late to make the score respectful

We shall see.

Well despite the Burrow love (and he deserves it, in reasonable terms not worship) don't the Bengals themselves say that their running game is the straw that stirs the drink?

If so, and they play it that way it could be like the Jets.

They ran the ball 43 times in Super Bowl III and attempted only 27 passes to the Colts 41.

Wasn't this the tape gate game, where the Patriots cheated and Rodger swept it under the rug and burned the tapes?

Remind me how many draft picks did they lose? HC suspended for how long?

I'm definitely not going to count out the Bengals. My worry though is that the NFL wants the Rams to win it.

To help pay for the Lawsuit he lost against St. Louis.

"On paper" the Rams should absolutely beat Cincinnati, and also cover the spread. However don't we trust Burrow more than Stafford?

I'll probably wager a modest amount on the Rams but with low confidence.
