I didn't care that they kicked him out but do it between innings, stopping the game for it with 2 outs and 2 strikes on the hitter was not needed.

Don’t understand how an umpire can eject someone who’s essentially a fan. They can’t eject fans in normal times who yell shite at them from behind the plate.
I was watching the game yesterday when it happened and the Braves broadcasters Chip and Jeff had no idea what was going on. Truly bizarre.

actually you are right. They can't eject them but they can stop the game and ask security to do so before starting back, sort of the same thing.

Friends with a current MLB umpire. West just wants to break the record for most games worked. The league has been trying to make it hard for him to do that in the past.
