With a 1-2 count you had the hitter at your mercy.
Now if count was 2-1 or 3-1 yea i would of walked him and faced the lefty

Surprisingly happened to Turner last year on the same count and 2 outs as well against the Rockies. Lux stole second on the ball that made the count 1-2

The thing is analytics has been a good in sports to a degree. It works out a lot or ppl wouldn't use it. But at the same time you can't manage or coach a sport solely on that. You have to know your players and all the gut feeling part to. You cannot take the human element out of it also.
