So lebron has a built in mechanism that isn't fully turned on during the regular season and he chooses to try harder during finals?
Seriously?

I wanna know when MJ averaged 27/8/7 on 56% shooting in any of his seasons ever.
See how dumb that is?
Or when MJ averaged 31/7/7 at 21 years old, when was that?
MJ doesn't stoop down to levels of 27 and 31 in the 3rd nba season.

well chad was using defense in all-star games as a determining factor in kobe/lebron, so...

It just makes message board debates harder to win if you acknowledge it because a statistical gotcha might not carry the same weight.
i look at performance and the evolution of their games, which is quantifiable in stats and objective measurements

Observation. I have watched them in competition and in other interactions. You actually do know and you do it as well. It just doesn't fit your argument to acknowledge it
I'm sorry, but if Lebron goes on to win 6 or 7 even titles(just go with the hypothetical) there is no possible way you can differentiate whether he or MJ had more drive and determination just by "observation"
That doesn't make any sense lol.

Of course, after's Lebron's and Michaels 10 year in the leagues, who has had the most hands down specatacular seasons all things considering? Don't you dare play stupid on me, don't you dare.

not really, i can keep playing the same game you are that i started but it all comes down to who's had the greatest seasons... that is what we're pointing out aren't we?

You and SFP don't believe that intangibles exist. I get it. I do. I think MJ had a will and drive that LBJ hasn't consistently displayed. If you think you win the debate because stats or some other direct objective data can't show it to you, then I respectfully disagree and think you are trying too hard. Sabermetrics and fantasy sports has altered the way people think about sports to a strange level.

Have you seen Lebron's career averages to date?
His numbers are unreal too.
I think it is unfair that you are so dismissive of Lebron.
ETA: Replaced "about" with "of".
