Did Cal have DeSean Jackson, Aaron Rodgers and Marshawn lynch at the same time?

I think Forsett was in that mix, too, and played well once Lynch was gone.

JJ Arrington was Cal's bellcow when Rodgers was the QB. I think Lynch was still an underclassmen.

yeah, Cal used to have some talent... and for being a very good academic school, that's pretty impressive....

Arrington was actually better than all the guys that came after him: Lynch Forsett Best and Vereen

I remember they played QB roulette and one of the guys never really developed into a star. Looks like it was Nate Longshore and he platooned with Kevin Riley. And Joe Ayoob.

I remember Marshawn, Justin Forsett, Desean Jackson and the immortal Nate Longshore tearing Fran a new one in the 06 Holiday Bowl

If I'm not mistaken, Aaron Rodgers and Cal made the trip to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to play the Golden Eagles.

It's strange in retrospect that Rodgers played in the Rock, knowing now how he and Favre would be linked.

Those Cal teams were absolutely stacked with NFL talent and still managed to not even make a single BCS bowl. Part of that was being in the middle of the Pete Carroll run, but they still had plenty of opportunities

Just looked it up and it turns out that Cal and USM did play in Hattiesburg, but it was at the end of the season. The game was postponed because of Hurricane Ivan.

It's amazing the things you forget over the years.
