I don't have any problem with someone pumping up the HBCUs, because it doesn't affect me one bit.

I think it's great that they've managed to do well by going their own way. But their 2nd best team got left out of the playoffs this year, likely because their schedule was full of hot garbage, and because they got blasted last year.

I mean, you had 3 teams selected as At-Large qualifiers with 4 losses. FAMU had 2.

But they have mediocre attendance numbers and they don’t even need the playoffs.

The SWAC has 4 teams currently in the Top 10 in attendance. And there are 2 others in the Top 20, and NCAT is there as well.

It will be interesting to see what happens to JSU's outrageous numbers if and when Deion leaves, though. There's no way they maintain that massive gap between them and #2.

Take Jackson State away, though, and the best is Southern at less than 20k. They would be 3rd behind both Montana schools, which is absolutely incredible to me.

How the frick do two schools from cold arse Montana lead the nation in attendance?!

He’s really proud that the classic had great attendance and was touting attendance numbers for their “biggest” games during the season that would rank like 50th in terms of average attendance compared to yearly averages this year.

The Bayou Classic attendance was 50th in average FCS attendance this year? You sure about that?.

Yeah, he's full of crap on that one. ESPN shows that 62k were in attendance. There likely isn't another FCS game that comes even close to that. That's more than 2.5 times Jackson State's average attendance.

Now, in terms of ALL of college football? Maybe. That's better than the average attendance for all but 25 schools at the FBS level, but thats AVERAGE.

So does it crack the Top 50 of college football? Probably not. But why would the Bayou Classic be compared to Michigan-Ohio State or LSU-Alabama anyway?

So small time football. They can talk about how great their attendance numbers are when they put up anything close to regular ncaa football.

Don't be a dumbass. They are FCS. Why would they compare themselves to the FBS?

I guess the SEC shouldn't talk shite about being good at football until they can beat the Cleveland Browns, huh?
