I remember when coach O had a bad culture at LSU in 2020-2021……

Yeah. You don’t have a team full of friends, but they need to all at least be going in the same direction

He told tons of scholarshipped players to get the frick out that they were no longer on the team, I don’t think he knows anything about culture

I wonder how he thinks about unity among the coaching staff. What would he do if his assistant coaches went against him?

You can win and hate each other in the pros. I believe the Big Red Machine in Cincy had some of that element. In college, you better have a good culture.

Yep. But when you are recruiting players that haven't had a normal culture. Then you will have issues.

Or when Gene Chizik had a bad culture at Auburn in 2012. Bryan Harsin at Auburn in 2021-2022.

Bad culture will absolutely tear a program apart.

holy shite, what a profoundly idiotic statement. I seriously hope Matt Rhule chimes in with his thoughts on the importance of developing a winning culture is in football and sports in general.

I mean, Texas 8&4 has “good players” and literally nothing to show for it other than their annual holiday excursion to the Belk, Liberty or Music City Bowls. they have elite talent up and down their roster, but they don’t have a culture of winning… they have a culture of gayness lmao.

Man everybody wants to take a shot at him. You have to finish the rest of the quote and interviews to understand what he is saying. There is context.

He just doesn't like the word culture because it means different things at different places. But he basically described the same thing that Brian Kelly is doing. "The standard is the standard. A bunch of like-minded individuals who want to be successful in the classroom and do everything the right way on and off the field with the hope of being a professional"

The good players part is absolutely true but culture absolutely matters too. Dysfunctional teams always crash and burn in CFB.

Deions always has had the better team as a head coach. His true character will come out when his team is 1-4. Who will blame everything on? Refs, coordinators, players? We know it won’t be his fault.

Joel Klatt was on the radio yesterday sucking him off saying Deion could be the coach of the year and is about to surprise everyone.

That’s pretty funny because I saw a video he was giving in the Colorado athletic facilities and a banner behind him literally said “Culture” with the C & U designed like their letters.

I suspect Deion is working hard to justify the implosion of the Buffalo football team. It's the way human nature works.

Sanders better be all that and a cup of coffee cause not many are rooting for this dude to succeed.

Wait wait wait....

this is the same guy that had players not wearing hats in places, and was basically preaching culture in his introduction. He was praised for that...now he is saying Unity isnt needed?
