I'm confused how was the blue line calculated and what it represents. Do you know the distance of the camera to the ball and how far behind the play the camera is?

Doesn't matter. Stupid play call. They had been stuffed already.
If the ball crossed the line then it was actually a good play call

Buffalo Bills fans celebrate regular season Super Bowls, Chiefs celebrate actual Super Bowls.
Buffalo Bills fans decide which “AFC East Champion” hat to wear, Chiefs fans decide which years Super Bowl Championship hat they want to wear.

The guy who beats them every year is only in their conference and in their way because they traded with the Chiefs so the Chiefs could jump ahead of New Orleans. If the Bills don't trade that pick then Patty ends up in NOLA and the Bills at least have a couple AFC titles in the last few years if not a Lombardi as well.
I believe when the Red Sox shook the curse of Bambino, it headed towards Buffalo. Must have been the wings.

OP is a pussy for pointing out the NFL blatantly rigged another game.
Did I do this right?

Hawk-Eye collects and synchronizes every broadcast angle of every play in a game. Video from these camera angles is simultaneously sent using technology from Cisco to both the stadium replay review booth and AMGC in New York.
Learn more about the NFL’s Replay Assist process
Replay officials at the stadium and AMGC staff can simultaneously review multiple camera angles and select the best option to rule on the play under review. Up to four selected synchronized camera angles can be sent to the tablet used by the referee during replay reviews.
So if one angle shows the ball even with Allen’s helmet, while the other simultaneous angle shows Allen’s helmet across the line to gain, what does that definitively tell you man?

Yes it does, the Bills got screwed by the KC Refs. They got screwed on third down, too. And on the catch. And on holds not called, and on the two minute clock delay of game, etc., etc.

I agree that he very likely made the line to gain using the synced views and never said otherwise. I was just questioning the use of the lines as some sort of definitive proof when it comes from the previously mentioned skewed angle.

The blue shows you how the angle is distorted. Clearly he didn’t make the first by that much
The yellow line shows you adjusted for the angle of the picture where the ball actually was in reference to the line to gain
The red line is what would have been needed for him to truly been short

Wait, I haven’t seen these yet.
What catch?
The delay of game doesn’t surprise me. They line up incorrectly, jump early, and are never called. Even ended a game that way, so ignoring a DOG is child’s play

NFL called McDermott, yeah, our guys blew it, sorry. Let's talk more at the annual meeting later in the year.
Hunt's call NFL.....check is in the mail.

How do you calculate this or where did it come from?

I mean that angle is still from behind. If it were completely above them dead center, those two lines would be closer together. If it's not directly above or exactly down the line, it's going to be a skewed angle. I mean there is literally a video of the play directly down the line of scrimmage. Not sure why everyone keeps posting still shots from pointless angles.
Oh, you know why they keep posting them.

Cool you are a better person because the football team you root for wins

Has the flag thrown on Buffalos final play then picked up been discussed? Was that thrown in case the Buffalo WR caught the ball and they needed to nullify the play?
Posted on 1/27/25 at 1:45 pm to lsupride87
For clarity, you need to put lines on all the hashmarks
Posted on 1/27/25 at 1:45 pm to BayouBaw84
Nobody knows. But both radio crews also said there was a flag so it wasn’t a CBS screw up

Exactly… Josh is 6’5” and the camera is behind him… he’s going to look across the line from that angle… but the camera angle down the yard line doesn’t show Josh surging over a foot beyond the yard line.
