I really think the most basic explanation (taking off tin foil caps and anti ND conspiracy theories) is that Tuiasosopo duped Teo (and seems to have done so to other football players, albeit to a lesser extent), and was trying to get attention and/or money donations into a faux charity. I doubt Teo would have been trying to scam and make money when he was destined to endorsement contracts and an NFL payday.

thats a load of dogshit. T'eo was the mastermind behind it all. He didn't get duped at all
