Does he have the original "letters" that were sent to him by his "girlfriend" that stopped with Stanford? I'd be curious to see whose handwriting they are in if they exist.

trust me, if this was a court of law Te'o et al would be pleading no contest here...so many thins could easily blow up their story...phone and internet records, receipts for flowers for funerals...return address from all these letters she handwrote him...the standford meeting....on and on

letters surely = e-mail or some other online message.

I just realized from the CBS video that Te'o went to the same high school in Hawaii as President Obama.

Te'o would be on suicide watch if there was significant possibility of this going to a civil or criminal trial.

Yep...and the Carson Tinker story did not get near the attention it should have in the national media. He was severely maimed in the same incident and overcame tremendous amounts of physical and mental adversity to play football in the fall.

Everyone knows in criminal matters to just STFU. Why these clowns hurry up to have pressers and trip themselves up in other arenas is stupid. PSU top dogs should have at least shut up at first and said they needed to investigate, but they got fired and in trouble criminally. OSU was interesting and handled it generally well, because I think everyone knew about it and were ready to roll with the preplanned script (Gee with his comment about Tressel firing him was the only major blemish). Swarbrick better have this thing airtight or he is finito.
