Following your disagreement, you might be better off not using indirect pronouns.
i know, he just used "he" a second ago and i thought he was talking about the dad. im sure i did it earlier as well without thinking and just assumed people knew what person i was talking about.

Manti claimed to meet her at Stanford in 2009, and on trips home at random times.
Dad, Brother, Family never met her

Wouldn't be surprising if Woods knows Tuiasosopo and knew what he was doing. Is Tuiasosopo from Carson? Woods from Gardena which is next door, they're the same age, and both played football. Not unlikely that they knew each other growing up.

Yeah they pushed it way too far with the leukemia thing. There was no need to "kill her off" that way.

So at what point do you think Manti actually found out he was duped?
I think he wasn't completely convinced until he got that call. Although its very possible that call could of happened before he said it happened or it wasn't actually a call and he became convinced because of something else. Either way I think he wasn't completely convinced until well after the alleged death and after he did most/all the media interviews.
I think he had to have been suspicious at some point before or directly after "she died" and was going to do everything(lie, embellish, mislead) to avoid embarrassment/buy time until he could go home for the holidays and talk to his parents about the whole thing.
Thats just my theory you could probable convince me of anything besides him making the whole thing up.

How else do they do it?
They tried to kill her off in a car wreck, and SHE JUST WOULDN'T DIE!

At this point, is this guy even Manti Te'o?
Who is Te'o? Do we know?
For all I know he could be a fricking robot controlled by Pete Carroll and Lane Kiffin

He would have been portrayed as an a-hole to break up with a girl with leukemia who had been in a car accident.

Correct me if I am wrong, but his dad said that Manti met her at Stanford and on trips.

Has he been quoted as saying this, or are you referring to that ridiculous story about their eyes "intertwining" or whatever it was?
That story seems very fabricated, and maybe the author Jayson Blair'd it.

But he says he met her at Stanford, and then they met up in Hawaii. This implies that he met up with and dated a REAL girl pretending to be a girlfriend.... OR he lied about it as early as 2010.
ETA: Also, the REAL girl he supposedly met at Stanford in 2009 would have to be the same one whom he met with in Hawaii.
