DAT *The A's don't want none of this* edition

The good ole boys, making their way the only way they know how, channeled the ghost of post-seasons past yesterday and got a clutch win over the cursed Twins.
For the first time in ages, the DAT was alive yesterday and abuzz with activity and celebration.
It felt like the old days again. The pitching was solid. Altuve didn't frick something up in a clutch moment. And Uncle Mike just did Uncle Mike things.
And lest we forget the proper Frambering the Twins were on the receiving end of.
U-baw gets the ball today. We recall Game 4 of the World Series last year when he pitched 5 shutout innings and look forward to seeing more of the same in Game 2.
Tiger Ryno said it best yesterday in the aftermath of the win:
Words to sweep a series by.
Everyone up in the Dome...everyone up at home! It's time to go get 'em Astros! Let's ride!

Couldn’t watch a pitch yesterday, won’t be able to today. Maybe the offense turned the corner in the ninth yesterday....nahhhh.

It was always winnable, unless it wasn't.

So it begins... Today is a good day for a leadoff Springer Dinger.

The Twins have lost 17 straight postseason games.

Same lineup for the Astros as yesterday as expected.
Twins mixed it up a lot
Arraez 4
Kepler 8
Cruz DH
Rosario 7
Sano 3
Kirilloff 9 (making his MLB debut)
Polanco 6
Marwin 5
Jeffers 2
Crazy they are benching Buxton, just from casually watching them the last week or two feels like he's been smashing the ball.
Alex Kirilloff is their number 2 prospect, and the first player in MLB history to have his debut be a start in the postseason.

I wish Dusty would do the same with McCormick and buy Reddick a bus ticket.

Reddick. Will be huge in this game. Mark these words.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Reddick...and I have no idea why. I have not been one to throw darts at him on here.
But goddam...a competent major league hitter would have hit 4 homeruns off the pitches that he saw against Maeda. On both strike 3's, he swung through hanging cement-mixer sliders. Even Maeda was pissed at himself for even leaving a pitch there in the first place.

Excited for Tim to cry if those darn cheating Astros prevail

Hoping we don't have to listen to another 9 inning of that today.
