I think we will get hI'm sometime next week. I think both teams are playing hardball over 1 prospect. If we get him I will be more than excited unless we give up both tucker and martes. A package built around tucker and mosgrove would hurt bad, but I think would get the deal done and I would be excited.

I agree. I think they end up with Quintana. Too much movement and smoke here in the last week. I think both GMs are playing chicken to see which one moves first.

They will give tucker and martes. And maybe another god prospect. Musgrove should not be delt. Defeats the purpose.

I think Ryno means that Musgrove may be a young piece but he is a win-now part of the rotation. Martes may not be that far away but Musgrove is polished and ready now. Tucker is clearly a ways away.

It makes zero sense to trade Musgrove. You have are trying to win and you have thin depth and injury concerns in the projected rotation. Musgrove is ML ready and showed great promise last year. Doesn't help much to gain quintana while getting rid of another projected starter who is young with great team control and projectable.

I've never agreed with Ryno and I don't intend to start now. At the same time, I'm not going to say he's idiotic wrong about Musgrove here.

Maybe the astros are holding up over musgrove. They want young mlb pitching(reportedly like eveyone else). So I would think we have to let go of Feliz or musgrove.
