Doubt it had anything to do with Correa.

Thursday:

Were the Astros still cheating in last year’s World Series? “Oh, yeah, no question,” Kurt Suzuki said. “We could hear it from their dugout. We heard their whistling. What are you going to do?”

Sunday:

I don't really associate myself with this stuff. I just go about my business and stay out of everything. I'm too old to get in the middle of things. They're the ones that have to answer questions.

The Courageous whistleblower also didn't have much to say after his arse got blasted

quote:

@susanslusser

I asked Mike Fiers if he wanted to respond to Carlos Correa’s insistence yesterday that Fiers specify that Jose Altuve did not use the sign stealing system. Fiers politely declines to comment but adds, “We did it as a team.”

The only media member who was right about fiers was Jessica Mendoza. Granted she played more competitive sports by the age of ten than Ken rosenthal has played in his entire life

One has to wonder if A’s fans even want Fiers on the team anymore! Being the cheater that he is!

Chris Sale, World Series champion whose manager was later fired for running a sign stealing system of their own, now gets to play victim. His words are comparatively subdued vs others. I wonder why

Who in their right mind in boston journalism thinks that asking him, a Player on the Red Sox, about the sign stealing is an appropriate question?

The sports world seems to have selective amnesia throughout this entire thing

What's wrong with sales response though?

Yall keep getting angry at players blaming their short comings on the cheating. Sale basically said what I've said...it happened. It is what it is. It was 3 years ago. It doesnt matter now. We cant change it. Let's fricking play.

It’s actually pretty reasonable response and don’t have a problem with him it’s mainly the reporter. I just find it ironic that a reporter asked him about it fishing for a quote like bellingers or Suzuki’s. What is he gonna say? Ban them from baseball? Like if they really want to discuss real details and get a real story how bout they ask him about 2018. Instead it’s just useless piling on. Just like Bellinger ignoring the fact they got beat by the Red Sox in 2018 who implemented a system similar with Cora. Also ignoring that they traded for Mookie who won an mvp in 2018.

Unfortunately the media is going to keep asking every fricking day. Unfortunately we will not be just move on anytime soon

I get it..its their job to get quotes. But that has to be pretty frickin annoying for all these other teams to answer questions about the Astros and not their own offseasons and camp.

It’s going to be a parade of Larry Leo level articles with the title X player was asked about the Astros and you’ll never believe what he had to say!!!!

I guess we’ve earned it but ones like that are still annoying

At this point, the Astros are the media’s equivalent of Donald Trump

Embrace it

Most of the ex-players that serve as media are on to baseball, b/c they know the score

The rest write about Kaepernick and Tuesdays w Morrie

Still anxiously awaiting MLBs response to Boston doing this the following year. Are they going to ask Mookie to give his ring back in LA?
