It's a Warren fundraiser where he'll ask her if she can recommend any Native American candidates for GM.

After the stuff I continue to see on Twitter, I want Banister. If only for a season.
We cannot have a pushover managing this team. I want someone who umpires will have to be restrain from throat punching Bauer
At least one Astros player has voiced an opinion with fire behind it... This was in response to an Athletic article titled “ Brodie Van Wagenen’s comments show that baseball needs more people like Mike Fiers. ”
Joe Smith tweeted earlier today:
quote:
Disagree. Baseball doesn’t need whistle blowers 2 years after. You have an issue? Step up address it in house and get it taken care of.

Y'all should just promote Steve Grande (Senior Manager of Media Relations) to GM already.
I have sources that says he's interviewed for several GM jobs around MLB.

Shamelessly stolen from FB so I know it’s fake. I agree with the sentiment though.

May I ask why people don’t want Buck Showalter? I don’t have an opinion either way, I’m just wondering.

I watched him leave Zack Britton in the bullpen during that wildcard game against Toronto after having one of the greatest seasons a reliever has ever had and it seems eerily similar to our previous manager
He might be exactly what that clubhouse needs but his in game decision making has definitely been questionable in the past. The joke has been you win a World Series the year after you fire him since both the Yankees and DBacks did it

managers are kinda inconsequential now. your whole goal in hiring one is finding one that will a) control the morale and egos of the team and b) wont actively get in the way of using the info given to him by the FO when it comes to the games. showalter aint it

You saying Showalter will be dumb about analytics?

as shown by his infamous 2016 wild card game

I'm talking in general mate. But point taken. Pretty sure Kaepernick is the lead candidate for this owner anyway.

I’m very excited for this season. Playing heel is fun

Sadly, the trash can isn't eligible until 2022.

The trash can would have been nothing without the monitors, especially the 2 which gave their lives for the cause. Have they arrested Hunch for vandalism yet?
Posted on 1/18/20 at 2:21 pm to Jwho77
Y’all see a Yankees minor league affiliate is having a trash can give away night? I wish the Astros would do this opening night at MMP.

Well, they won't be having a 2017 Yankees World Championship pennant giveaway so why not?
Posted on 1/18/20 at 2:46 pm to Jwho77
Our minor league teams give away repilica rings. The Yankees give away replica trash cans.
