Out of Hummel, Dezenzo, Short, Smith and Rodgers they all are worthy of making the big league club after a good Spring. I’d go with Dezenzo Smith and Rodgers.

You only go with Smith if you plan on him starting.

It's a shame they seem not to believe Paredes can play 2B since they seem dead set on making Jose a left fielder.
And look, I get it. Old man Altuve is likely to really suck at 2B so they want to make the transition now. However, it may not allow us to get the best players on the field in 2025, since Smith and Paredes in corner OF with Jose at second is likely our best 'today' lineup.
I suspect Hummel makes it as a bench versatile switch hitter with Dezenzo starting the majority of games in RF.

Well then. I mean, that's awesome.
But what about Dezenzo?

Why are we not playing Dezenzo in LF, Smith in RF, and Altuve at 2B?

That would seem to logical haha

I agree. Throw him in the fire and let’s ride

If tweet fails to load, click here. Even if he doesn’t make it back to the big leagues, what an incredible comeback for Ivey. Rooting for him

I can live with that lineup, but get Walker back at 1st, let Altuve go back to 2nd and Dezenzo to LF and we have a AL West division winning lineup.

Starting to wonder if Walker is headed to the IL. And yes, I know they’ve said he isn’t.

I’m not even going to pretend to be shocked when he is on the IL to start the season. We have zero reason to believe what Dana and Espada tells the media nowadays

I was confused on that too. They said he’d play this past weekend but he never did.
Walker Did play 6 innings today though and they said felt good. Lance threw 31 pitches and felt good as well. Chandler mentioned that he’d go again for Sugar Land and he’d have 30 days to build up before the assignment in.
