Still can’t believe the Astros had the nerve to make a Josh Hader themed drink for the playoffs, and sell it for $40, only for him to blow the season. Truly incredible

During game 1, Tim Kurkjian and the other dude kept mispronouncing Framber’s name even though they said earlier “Framber rhymes with somber”.
My crazy trade thought of the day: Fram-ber, Presley, and Tucker plus Jake/Chas/and/or Abreu for Brian Reynolds and Skenes.

The most exciting game I saw at Minute Maid Park this year was the Savannah bananas

Sorry for your loss
My investment at MMP this year was $0.00

This implies the Pirates actually want to be a winning ball club that's gunning for the postseason.
Nope, they're going to run Skenes value up and then trade him away to the Yankees/Dodgers.
Skenes in Houston would be absolute fire though. He'd be a perfect personality fit for the Astros.

Starting pitching was not the issue this year. It might be more of an issue next year with kikuchi leaving. But by all means we need another outfield and infield bat, maybe 2 infield bats assuming they don’t sign Breggy.

Should have been a glass of high life with a Xanax in it

It's the bottom of the 1st in Cleveland. The Guardians have outscored our 18 inning output before the first out is made. Guardians up 5-0 on the untouchable Tigers.

This surprises me zero.
I would have picked the Indians to sweep the series but Skubal is good enough to win them a game.

The broadcast just said Skubal is lined up to go in Game 2 and Game 5. Three days off in this 5 games series.

I think Detroit gets swept. The Tigers and Astros are who we thought they were.

Yuli has made his presence felt in Game 1 against the Yankees. Two walks, two runs scored, and has cut down two runners at home defensively.

Yuli dragging his nuts on Dana Brown for those strays he threw at Yuli the other day

Dana brown is either a fool or a POS company man in that case. Yuli wasn’t the missing piece for the Astros by far, but I’ve enjoyed following his progress this year and hope he can continue to make noise this postseason. Just missed a line drive homerun to run Cole out of the game.
ETA: Stanek closed out the 9th for the Mets as well. Not a high leverage situation, but worth mentioning.
