I’d rather have Paredes for 3 years and have more money to spend next year.
Assuming Pressly deal gets done, I hope they move quick on what’s left of the OF market and not waste their time on this BS.

What exactly is left? Austin Hays and Alex Verdugo?

I don’t know if Altuve in LF will happen or not, but lest we forget this guy once roamed the OF after pretty much exclusively playing 1B in high school, college and the minors.

Biggio also went C > 2B > CF.

Watching Top 100 Prospects for 2025 on MLBN and Astros have one guy checking in on the list at #59, Cam Smith 3B, and we got him in the Tucker deal
Astros prospects have been underrated, but boy do we need to improve the farm.

And for the LsU guys, Tre Morgan was at 94 and Dylan Crews at 4
KonnorGriffin that was drafted this year by Pirates after committing to LSU from Jackson, MS was ranked in the 20s already

Pressly just blocked a trade to the Tigers.

Guess he’s had enough Hinch for a lifetime

Well, the Bottom Line Scroll on MLBN mentioned that Pressly was blocking any moves East and West, and Detroit is North, so we should consider asking Trump to maybe facilitate a move to Mexico now

DFA him. I’d rather pay him 14 million to not be here.

“won’t be ready for opening day” of which year? It’s hard to keep track.
Posted on 1/25/25 at 12:48 pm to Cliff Booth
Lolol…and Garcia was tracking to be back last year before a couple of setbacks shut him down…now he won’t even be ready 7 mos later? Nothing to worry about I’m sure.
Oh and don’t forget when Javier had his surgery they said they expected him back this year…
Also, saw something about Yordan’s injury at the end of last year being worse than thought and that only as of the last 3-4 weeks, it started to feel good.
This fricking team…

I saw that. I'd kind of purged the end of last year from memory and forgot he had a knee injury. But shite, he's just now feeling better in the last month? It's destined to happen again isn't it? He always going to have some kind of injury that'll hamper him for a few weeks.
