Weren’t Yordan’s offensive numbers slightly better in games when he started in LF as opposed to when he DH’d? Not that his numbers were bad as a DH.

Padres are interested in Yuli Gurriel.

I can't wait for the Yankees to announce they've signed Judge to a bigger contract than what Turner got from the Phillies.
I hate the Yankees. I don't hate Judge. I really want him to leave and hear all those collective Yankee tears. Those bitch fans don't deserve Judge.

Ross Stripling is a proven swingman who just had an excellent year starting.
Not that I think he will end up here, but Stripling lives in Houston and actually works as a stock broker/financial planner in the off season.

If we’re doing the C move, I would imagine Brantley and Yuli are gone
I am curious what the market might bring for them
I’m a little surprised that Brantley hasn’t even been mentioned. Especially with Cleveland

Well Lady, I did not know that

I thought Crane essentially said Brantley wouldn’t be a possibility until the spring due to the uncertainty of the recovery from the surgery. Not sure if other teams are following suit but it sounded like he wouldn’t pass a physical right now as it stands (if that’s even a thing in MLB)

I haven’t heard any reports on Brantley at all
I want him back, and we don’t need him
He could show up for the playoffs. Maybe at a discount

Gurriel is probably 1 yr 5 million. I don't think you will know about Brantleys ability to throw and swing until close to beginning of season. That is a horrific surgery. Same one Myers had but Myers is 10 years younger.

I think the late addition of Brantley may be part of the plan for both sides, unless GM Jim shells out for a Nimmo or something.
Also, MLB Network is pimping the Cardinals as the favorite for Contreras.

Those are the same guys reporting Healey had multiple 3 year offers but was holding out for a four year deal.
And 2 hours later he signed a 2 yr deal with the rangers.

Are you trying to say that we should not believe the leftist sniveling weasels they call insiders?

Arson judge deal on the 1 yard line. Talk about hot stove.

I really want him to sign a bloated contract with the Yankees.
But I’m okay if he goes elsewhere, just for the enjoyment of Yankees tears.
Either way, I’m celebrating.

He’s not giving up all that love from the home crowd when he fans versus playoff pitching at a 40% clip

MLB used 2 different types of baseballs this season for sure...with evidence of a third. And, and, and...

(Btw, we're calling this new ball we found MLB using "Goldilocks" cause the weight average is roughly in the middle of juiced and dead. Not too hot, not too cold, y'know?)
But what's wilder, imo, is *where* we found Goldilocks. Last year we had no discernable pattern. Within our sample this year, most Goldilocks balls show up in the 2022 postseason or regular season Yankees games. Almost every other baseball in every other location was dead.
