When your leader is the worst position player offensively and defensively in all of MLB, you're not supposed to make the playoffs.
The offseason will only be interesting once it is announced that Baker is not coming back.
Otherwise, I'm not following a complete crash and burn again. And I really mean that.

They've been saying we've gotta shake it off for two weeks now. Every time Bregman isn't too big of a pussy to talk to the media he says the same thing.
It's not Dubon's fault he got sacrificed to talk to the media so Bregman and Tucker can hide and not speak for their play and say the same tired shite about "not playing good ball right now"
If you noticed during this stretch any time after a bad loss it's either Dubon or Chas that put out quotes to McTaggart on to post in his write-up.

If Baker retires after this season, I will call it a win, just to see the MFer go.

Castillo usually does not bode well for them. But now Lyle's and Waldichuk don't bode well for them either.

I actually believe this a little. He had fire. I do not see any fire coming from that clubhouse. The other thing the clubhouse had was fun. They always looked like they loved each other and loved playing baseball together. I don't know how much of that just came from winning or if there were some pieces like Uncle Mike's presence, Yuli, Carlos, etc. that really were glue.

We will discuss this in Jasper during the offseason community leader meetings special session (assuming our deposit check clears with the Jasper Lyons Club).

I'm bringing the guy from the Texas State band who threw the trident as my +1. I feel like he'll make positive contributions to our group.

Call me an idiot for saying this if you must fellow DATers, but I'm now kind of feeling a little optimistic. To me one of the most underrated parts of last year was beating and ending the Mariners season on their own field in the Wild Card round. Idk about yall, but it would be just as satisfying going into their place and beating them in this series which would likely end their season. Again. Cuz why not? We tend to somehow do better on the road anyway.

It would be very on brand to get swept by the Royals and then go to Seattle and win the series.

Hopefully Scott Servais tries to start a brawl over some mundane nonsense and injects some life into these mummies

It felt like Pena brought this last year. Theoretically, rookies like Yainer should bring that same youthful energy.... if he played.

I hope the worst player in baseball starts every game at catcher this week. It's fitting.

It’s a bad quote in the wake of getting swept by a 100-loss team. Something like “we need to shake it off” is a better thought.
That's how I took it too. Nobody's a bigger Dubonaroo fan in the DAT threads than me. He's earned it this year. Houston of old would be taking care of business though.
However, it's fun being so spoiled off their last 6 year run that we're ready to torch this bldg to the ground.

Just not during Framber's game. That shite makes him fall apart.

We're not furious that management is seemingly doing everything possible to fail in 2023 because we're spoiled. We're mad because it's a fricking joke.

No lie I was about to post something using this song.
After 6 long months of Dustys shite, DAT minds are united as one.
