I'm all for diversity , but softball and baseball are two completely different games. ESPN/Disney PC over competence.

I was on WatchESPN and it's not even on there.

Thanks.

Well, could've been a lot worse given how the inning started. Might be enough if Arrieta is in his game anyways. Regardless, odds are this Cubs lineup will have an explosive inning of Fiers but anything is possible

Damn George did not expect a walk after going down 1-2 and his recent play

I hate that strike zone rectangle.

Totally distracting to my eyes, I can see the pitch locations better without it.

What the frick George. Base running has been atrocious

Credit to Ross though he handled that perfectly

What an inning killer. If lead off guy walks for Bregman, Altuve, and Correa following we have to fricking do something with it

Maddon was at the forefront of shifts in baseball. Now his team uses the least shifts in baseball. That's enough to suggest to me the effectiveness of the shift is probably dead. The rest of baseball hasn't figured it out yet.

Fun fact: Fiers leads the majors in wild pitches and also the Astros lead overall with 87

I think our goose is cooked anyway. If we lose tonight, we'll be 3.5 back with 19 to play

Eta: 7-17 is such a ridiculous hole to have to climb out of
