Never mind it doesn’t matter there’s literally no player to hit in these spots with RISP. Absolute fricking joke

And on this day, not a clutch hit was to be found anywhere. Kinda like most days the last 2 months that end with a "y"

That's not a bad start from Javi at all. If he didn't have a dog shite RF and passive scared playing middle IF's it probably should only be 1-0

11 whiffs and .171 xBA

Gausman is dotting and look great, but guys with velo and a split can just pitch care free in the middle of the zone against this team. There is borderline zero threat of damage being done.

Literally no fear with the fastball begging them to do whatever damage they can. They are gonna get Maddux'd by a dude throwing fastball 45% of the time over the heart of the plate

Sanchez may seriously be the worst defensive position player the Astros have had in over a decade. God damn he’s almost unplayable.

it’s funny how these clowns either get a bunch of hits but few runs or no hits and no runs

So you’re not a fan of a guy who can only hit against righties (allegedly) and can’t play the outfield? You and your high standards.

Should have bet the under.

I haven't seen any of the game, but I just looked at the box. 2 hits, not 2 runs. Pena and Correa. Some of the fairly dependable few.

Holy hell. Gausman is having a complete game.

Lady, you are mature enough and have attained the experience necessary to know, this team is not worthy of our dedicated following.

Your concerns should have been prior to the present state of this organization.

End of story.

Still there when checking final scores though.

I have never been a "blah blah fire everyone" guy, but the entire offensive coaching staff needs to go.

Espada was a lazy hire that was denied by 6 other organizations

Our entire pitching side has been lost after Luhnow. Including our S and C guy Chris Martin, presently at LSU

Look, I’m not the guy you come into this forum with thinking is gonna keep your stupid hopes up for positive outcomes

This team ain’t winning shite, and never was. Framber was a piece that mattered and we failed in accomplishing that task.

You wanna waste time talking about it? Nah

Save that for the guys that pop in from time to time to interject their positivity and personal vendettas against anyone that disrupts their aura

Will tonight be the night that the Mariners officially tie up the division now?

Let them just pass this team up and end the charade of this being a good team. It's not even excusable anymore with injuries. It's bad management and coaching, period.

Espada is typical "continuity" hire and Brown has been near disastrous as a GM.

What's new though.

This I can agree with. There’s a reason no one hired him when he interviewed each offseason during the golden years

This is not the lineup of a division leading team. I mean, they are...for maybe the next 24 hours or so. But the Astros lineup doesn't stack up well when compared to the other five teams that appear headed to the postseason.

Houston has:
Worst general manager in MLB
One of the worst managers in the American League
A farm system that can't be counted upon to help the big club
A free agent bust at first base
A tired, inconsistent bullpen without Hader
And zero momentum heading into the season's final 15 games.

The golden years are over. The Astros are going to be passed by both the Mariners and the Rangers.

On a related front, best of luck to Alex Bregman and Kyle Tucker.

Fast forwarded through the rest of the game once it got to 3-0, legit thought they may have been no hit. Very annoying how shitty they are, maybe one of the olds or Dragon can pull off some sort of miraculously inspiring DAT to reverse the juju.

That shite that they continue to run out there on a daily basis ain’t fricking it, and has not been it for most of the season outside of a few, brief inspired runs of good fortune. Of which have been few and far between.

Eh, I’m no huge fan of Dana, but he (or any other GM who comes along) are firmly under the thumb of Crane, who has made it very clear he won’t sign long term free agent deals. He’s made some solid trade deadline deals (the ones this year should have panned out better) and got a really nice haul on the Tucker deal. Unfortunately, two of the guys suffered season ending injuries.

This lineup on paper should not, absolutely should not, be this bad.

Along with one of the worst coaching staffs. The fact that they are this bad at scoring runs should have had someone fired long ago.

As stated above, Espada was a lazy safe hire. Getting rid of Dusty (who was also a lazy safe hire) offered a chance to really start over and Crane fumbled that opportunity spectacularly.

Gay arse Mariners win another extra inning game in that cursed stadium.

Scored 4 runs in the second off a ball hitting a baserunner on a routine double play, and Angels could never score more than 1 in their extra inning frame. Mariners have some insanely good juju going on with how they’ve won these two games.

15 games to go, tied at the top of the AL West and 2 games up of the final wild card spot.
