I wasn't in that number.

It was a non-starter for me.

My interests were on a big scale move with Pena and Brown

I haven’t looked in a bit but that OF has something like 20 hits since the deadline. Abreu is back to being our reliable setup man.

Bringing up one veto'd trade in a vacuum omits the entire story. Maybe Brown does other deals that end up going well overall and making us better. Perhaps we end up less well off.

Instead, Crane cut his nuts off at that moment, prevented trading from the MLB roster and effectively ended another GM's tenure so he can line up another one to frick with/over. All we got was the odd Varsho deal.

We'll never really know how those dominoes would have fallen.

Sorry the tone and theme of the DAT, established long before you became a regular posting here, doesn't fit how you want it to be. It's not going to change, and your permission for it to continue is obviously pointless.

I generally enjoy your TD posts and respect/often agree with your takes. You may not care about that but sharing it anyway. We're all Astros fans here, trying to have fun, which you well know. I hope we all continue to do just that together.
