I’m gonna say it. I hope I’m proven wrong. I’d be delighted to be proven wrong. But I think the hand is bothering him. Yes I know his avg and ops have been good, but he has zero HRs since that hand incident in Anaheim where he kept shaking it… and we’re coming up on two weeks since then.

He has scalded several balls, including that one “should’ve been” double last week that he got deked on. But most of his hits have been these low liners. Makes me wonder if he is compromising his swing.

As I say, I will be beyond thrilled to be wrong and that this is just a HR slump. I am admittedly paranoid when it comes to him getting injured, but unfortunately historical precedent has jaded me.

Come on Yed, hit one 450 and ease my worries.
