Between yesterday’s bullshite win, two one run wins against the Rangers, and that close game tying home run they are due some frick shite when they go on the east coast next week

Was at the game tonight. Enjoyed the hell out of the stadium and the Yankees fans were not as scary and ooc like you read about. Quite a few “welcome!”’s and “enjoyed the game” on the way out. No issues whatsoever. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The Altuve boos were loud as hell and his first swing HR with all the them made it that much better. Being the heel is amazing. I can say how he thrives in that setting.
All in all, fantastic trip with my dad and my son. Will never forget it.

Jose Altuve is a case study for how I want my kids to respond to criticism and negativity.
By all accounts he is unwarrantedly the face of the cheating scandal he had no part in.
Yet he never deflects the criticism. He never hangs his head. He never seems to externally get angry and lash out.
He goes up to the plate like it’s any other bat and pulls a homer to shut them up and then trot around like it’s a home run in Houston in April.
He feeds off it internally but doesn’t show it externally which just makes the booers look that much more foolish
