Early lineup predictions:

Chas takes a seat after his performance yesterday.
Mancini is in, but bats 7th.
Tucker is still out.
Someone else needs rest as well, probably Altuve.

Yes. I think he pitches again this Sunday on SL than either gets called back up or goes one more start.

Yeah I heard that there is some sort of time limit for rehab assignments. They said something like 30 days. So after this next start a decision needs to be made soon after.

Gonna be nice to have him back - I saw him pitch in 2017 @ KC and he had a no-no through 6 or 7. Dude was dealing.

Who's pushed out of the rotation when Lance comes back or do they do the 6 man rotation again?

Stinky

That would be my guess. Dropped Stinky and back to 6-man with Lance in his place.

I think they probably do six to limit starters’ innings as much as possible.

FODB. 193-136 over 2 1/2 years. Been to the ALCS both years as manager, been to the World Series, and yet yall think he sucks? You can’t do that if you’re a bad manager. Can’t get away with bad managing in baseball, like you can in football or basketball. Pitching staff has been excellent this year, and wasn’t terrible last year. I’m just trying to figure out what Dusty does that made everyone hate him as a baseball manager. Personally, I’ve been impressed with him as a manager. I think he’s better than AJ Hunch too.

I'll give Dusty Baker some credit.

He's better than Tony LaRussa.

Gary Kubiak, Les Miles, Ed Orgeron. All incompetent football coaches, but were successful because of the players, and not having to make too many critical decisions each game. In baseball, you have to make a crucial decision, at the right time, every single game, lots of times throughout the game. When to bring in or pull a pitcher, when to put in a pinch hitter for someone who’s 0-2 on the day with 2 strikeouts. When to call a hit and run, all of that falls on the manager. Football and basketball head coaches don’t have as much of a responsibility as baseball managers.

You forgot one important thing... setting the lineup.

And Dusty is terrible at all of the above. He's just managing a loaded team that can make up for his poor decisions.

What are you talking about? Are you some disgruntled Texans fan?

Gary Kubiak was a prolific offensive coordinator for years before he became the Texans HC, and he was pretty solid as the head coach. You don't do what he did at the NFL level without having some competency.

You including his name with Les Miles and Ed O is incredibly stupid and ignorant.

With universal DH you can practically chart the game ahead of time.
