Not even the most important thing tbh. I mean we are third in the MLB in wins this season, so obviously he knows how to set a lineup.

There’s a difference between regular season lineups, and lineups in October. You’re trying to get guys reps, and you’re also giving guys rest, so you’re not going to have your best lineup for every single game.

Barry Switzer win a SB with the cowboys because the team was stacked. Literally anyone could do at minimum what baker is doing. He's a political figure head

Gary Kubiak sucked as a head coach. Only won a Super Bowl because he had a good arse defense. Had nothing to do with his head coaching abilities. Great coordinator, but not all great coordinators turn into great head coaches.

The lineup’s not just about who is in it. The order is equally important.

when you put a backup into the lineup and put him in the same slot as the regular regardless of ability, that’s proof of not knowing what you’re doing.

Mauricio Dubon and his 69 OPS+ has started 7 games in the top third of the lineup.

Following Dusty's day to day decisions with this team is frustrating, and hearing him try to defend or articulate his reasoning for just about anything confirms that he is not an analytical thinker. He was most certainly a political hire post-scandal. All that said, I could not find many nits to pick with how he managed the team last October, especially with our pitching well running dry. I do have to give him credit for that, and hope he can achieve even better results come this October with a stacked pitching roster and the upgrades Click has delivered himm.

In Sugartonio, Marty Costes is a player to watch. Hurt for a big bulk of the season, he has consistent high EV numbers and low K numbers in the minors. If he can elevate the ball more consistently, he could be an answer as a corner outfielder.

Plus Gaddis is making his MLB debut, ERA just over 4 in the minors this season and a HUGE K/9.

So, what I'm saying is... bet the under again.

Chas takes a seat after his performance yesterday.
Mancini is in, but bats 7th.
Tucker is still out.
Someone else needs rest as well, probably Altuve.

Tucker still out was correct at least.

Guy has to be wondering what the frick happened. Borderline all star catcher, respected veteran World Series champion. Treated like some shitty young backup

Let's be honest. Maldy has been hot over the last five weeks. Can't complain about his continued playing time for now.

For now.

Yeah, eventually one could go broke betting on Maldy. But hey, his average is near .180 now. Whee!!!

I would be cool with Bregman 2nd and Mancini 4th. Either works for me
