Walks to 8 and 9 hole and Pena swings 1st pitch, just like always Even if this is a Pena thing, you have to fire one of Snitker or Cintron If they don’t have enough say to get Pena to do better, you don’t need that position on your staff, or you need somebody different And this is not an isolated incident. If you have any baseball IQ, you have to hate this team and the way it is managed
All of this is true, but somebody help me understand why it’s worse at home. I just don’t get it. I know our overall home record is better this year than the past couple but these last two months have been right back to the bullshite that we saw in 23 and in the short lived postseason of 24.
Nice shot Cam!

Good to see Cam hit one out.
Finally a nice outing from Framber

I really have no idea why any Astros fan would make even more than a last minute nothing to do free ticket effort to go to a game.
Fan of a visiting team or player can at least take in batting practice
Aside from our home struggles to win historically, they don’t even score runs, and the lineup rarely has had the starters all in it. This has been going on for a very long time. The vast majority of our run.

Any win is a good win.
And a shutout
And a shutout

This is the most aggravating part to me as a fan. I mean tonight for example, you have both catchers out hurt and then in addition, they not only sit one of their best hitters (I know he hadn’t been great lately but still) but then they continue to trot out a guy (Melton) that is clearly over his head right now.
I get that they’re trying to hide Altuve’s defense but the lack of runs trumps that in my opinion.
Walker 1B
Urias 2B
Peña SS
Correa 3B
Altuve/Yed LF/DH
Dubon CF until Jake comes back
Sanchez/Cam RF
Yainer/Caratini C
Should be the lineup the majority of the remaining games.
Don’t misunderstand I’m glad we won tonight but I have a hard time understanding why we don’t have as many good hitters as possible in a lineup that struggles to score runs.

‘Twas a beautiful thing seeing Framber pitch so efficiently and the return of Killa Cam and Yordong.
Let’s get Jake back up and eject Melton, or even Chas, and get back to bopping all the way through the lineup.
RIP to Vic and Yainer though.
