JV has made it pretty clear that his current motivation is wins. When you also take into consideration that he's not a complete fricking moron... he knows Yainer and Jake gives him a better chance to win than Dubon and Singleton
JV has also made it clear that he really likes data. I mean he pissed off the Mets folks by telling them their data was nowhere near the Astros standards. Show him data, and JV would be on board.

Waiting for the inevitable news that Yordans dainty hands are aggravated again and he needs to be ILd. He's a complete non factor at the plate right now.
Me 2 days ago.
I don't for a second buy that he got a boo boo from a door. He's out till September.

I mean it's not hard to do that at all. You'd think a fanbase that is desensitized to a struggling franchise would know better but man these Mets fans are irritable.
Also, don't know why they're fighting the truth

Stil pretty good odds on the Mariners to win the division if you're into betting.

I posted this a while ago and will say it again,,,I have never seen a team as much as the Astros have players that go out due to injuries/illness in the most bizarre circumstances

A guy that was riding the pine flawlessly slips in to the cleanup spot when the every day cleanup hitter goes out. That shows how fricked up FODB lineups are.
I know FODB is a lazy arse that doesn't change the lineup card when these last minute scratches happen, just saying thats probably where the DAT would logically put him if we were in charge - and he wasn't going to play so a .111 hitter could be in the lineup. Ludicrous

Of all things that make me say FODB, his propensity to just stick the replacement hitter in the same slot might be the biggest.

So I’m in Baton Rouge and I am blacked out on TBS… how stupid is that???? They want me to drive to Houston… 6 hours to see them???? No wonder baseball is losing viewership.

I’m in McAllen, Tx and was blacked out! I agree truly ridiculous as it’s a 5+ hour drive on a weekday!

That was so beautiful. Got into a leverage count, got the cock shot fastball, and demolished it
