And there’s the wild pitch gifting them a run. The walk he issued is about to score too.

Joe Espada sucks. Should have been fired before the season.

Sousa is a fine pitcher. Don’t care that it was him.

Why in the absolute frick are you hooking Blubaugh who was dialed in AND can save you arms for tomorrow. He’s so god damn stupid

They got word the Rangers and Mariners were losing, and they couldn't handle prosperity.

So if Abreu was available why not let him start the damn inning? Win or lose this guy needs to be gone.

I have no words. It’s tiring rooting for this team when they clearly are not a first place team.

Espada just turned a win into a loss. All he had to do was follow the formula. Okert then hader or abreau then hader. Or let blubaugh go until he let a guy on. But no, he chose the one option with the least chance for success in Sousa.

It’s wrong to hate. But damn i hate Espada being the manager. What a fricking dipshit.

He refuses to elevate Blubaugh to a larger role despite the fact he’s probably been their second best reliever for a while. It’s absolutely mind numbing

How many pitches do we see in the 9th? I think it’s less than 10 and 3 quick outs swinging aggressively

I’m too cheap to bet, but it would seem safe to bet that our boys see less than 13 total pitches in the bottom half of the inning.

Will be happy to look like a fool.

He hadn’t thrown since the 19th. You have an off day Monday to get him right. His pitch count was manageable. And you can stay away from Okert-Sousa-Abreu

The only thing I can think of is avoiding the second up-down? Which if that’s the case it’s even more Joe’s fault because he forced him to come in mid-inning!
