I agree. I think bringing him back before three would be a reinjury risk. I say this without knowing the severity of the injury.

He knew he was fricked when he got about half way to 1st base. I am thinking 3 weeks minimum, then hope it doesn't nag throughout the post-season run that we will make, led by young heroes Frambaw, Javier, Toro, Yed, and everyone's pick as team RBI leader Moldy Nacho.
I mean, who really needs a Cy Young pitcher, a rookie of the year, and a guy who finished 2nd in the MVP vote last year???

Yeah I guess ideally as long as he's good about a week or two before the playoffs start that would be a good scenario.

I was looking at potential low cost acquisitions that might be available to offset the loss of Alvarez and Bregman.
I looked at non contenders with 1B/DH guys who are free agents after this year. Bit of a thin list...
