Not having someone hot as the 5th starts is pretty funny.

Not having a new pitcher in the game as you let this loser who has already given up 7 ER allow barrel after barrel and pitch you out of the game is inexcusable.

Love that we’re talking about trading Blubaugh while we continue to trot out Imai, Burrows, and Abreu as mlb pitchers on a weekly basis

Altuve was in another area code from home plate. I guess he’s channeling his inner Charlie Hustle in an attempt to slump bust.

Brutal loss.

Not when you're trotting out a starter that has an ERA of 6

Joe Expedia isn't trusting his gut... he's pulling bingo balls put of the machine and hoping it works

Did anyone read the Chandler Rome piece on Burrows this morning? I like how Rome phrases the situation as a “question” of whether Burrows can start going forward.

Burrows is on track for a historically bad season. It isn’t a question anymore. If he starts vs. the Rangers you may as well concede this season and sell at the deadline.

I don’t think what I said was off base. Burrows is cooked.

What is off base is demanding the owner to sell like an emotional teenager.

And Burrows was optioned.

Which honestly, pisses me off even more about how Joe managed that game last night. He wasn’t going to stay up after giving up 6 in 4 innings and you knew you were getting a fresh arm. How do you let him load the bases in the 5th?

Whatever get the Imai experience today what joy

Yep, Burrows sent down to AAA and Santa called up.

I guess they just gave him a long rope since he was one of their offseason pickups.

Off base is sacrificing your assets in the hope that this team is going to compete for a WS title

Crane brought Houston the best run seen by most teams in the league ever. Luhnow was the key, but he provided the financial support to get it done.

Replacing Reid with his son, firing Luhnow, hiring DEI across the board to pacify the league, while meddling in all things management are not his strong points.

My comment on selling the team if he doesn't have the best interests of the organization improving enough to compete for championships is no more off base than you saying sell at the deadline if you start Burrows in his next scheduled appearance.

If you were aware enough, you would see that both things are intricately related.

This is just one reason Espada hurts this team.

5 run lead in the 3rd inning and he can only eat 2 outs for you while throwing every pitch in his repertoire middle middle, unless of course he's walking Wood that scored both times, and you let him give up the entire lead.

But that's not good enough. Let him sabotage your next arm up too.
