I called the deal rich for Milwaukee which is what you would expect in return for a player of Gomez's caliber.

I said a while back that Gomez is a pretty firey guy. Haven't watched any Brewers games this year but it wouldn't surprise me if he's been loafing on a bad team. A playoff push might motivate him.
