He don't have the balls for that kind of move.

Man, sure does look like they’re never going to win another game again! Grrrr!

4 game losing streak. Longest of the season. 4. We’ve seen much worse.

No post game from AJ. No locker room interviews with players. Is that typical on a travel day?

Hopefully he's ripping them a new one. No excuse at all for this.

In other news, I have it on good authority that Correa actually fed himself today, and he will be taking some infield only pops on the left side tmrw.

The plan is to have him do infield pops from his shifted position on Tuesday.

There was one. He was short with everyone. Said these four games were a very small sample of a long season. You could tell he wasn’t happy. He said if you think he’s hitting the panic button, you’re barking up the wrong tree. Something to that extent.

Ahh. None of the usual twitter people covered it.

there was a chance to go to Philly, but Adam Jones has decided to stay in Baltimore (at least for now) due to reasons of family, friends, fans and his charity. can't blame him for that. tough call, he appreciates the interest. possibility to revisit after the deadline also.

Maybe not the guy we'd want. If he'd rather spend 2 months wasting away on a historically bad last place team than jump into a playoff race, recognizing he probably won't be back in Baltimore next year anyway. Plus it's less than 2 hours from Baltimore to Philly and he wouldn't approve a trade there? Seems like a guys that's pretty content to just get paid.

Godfather III is the only thing that could get us out of the slump.

They have lost 9 of 15. Tooany games to count this year when the offense can't muster 2 runs. It's not a 4 game. Problem. Virtually every regular in the lineup underperforming. If you can't see it get some glasses.

Exactly. It’s four games........ FOUR

The meltdown within this thread is about on par with trade deadline day last year and look how that turned out

Everyone just needs to chill the hell out and let things play out

Usual suspects. They keep the negative tones in these threads alive and well.

Astros since All-Star Break and @MLB rank...

33 runs (25th)
8 HR (20th)

5.05 ERA (23rd) @Astros

Not a good 7 game stretch by any measure. But this isn’t the true talent level of the team.

By panic meter is about a 3. If the struggles continue when (and if) Altuve and Correa return to the lineup, and we make no more moves, then I may begin to panic a bit

Exactly. It’s a slump. It happens. And people here have watched enough baseball to know this.

The way their playing right now is obviously not the true identity of this team like some like to act like.

Just for the record, Houston went 9-15 from July 16th to August 13th last year as well. 11-17 in the month of August. I guess we needed glasses then too.

shite happens. Slumps happen.

The world isn’t over. But i forget who posts here sometimes.

If the Nats decide to sell free agent relievers... Herrera has actually been pretty Meh in a limited run with them.

15 games 13.2IP 17H 3HR 6 walks 12 strikeouts 5.80 FIP. Much more like he pitched in 2017 than early 2018.

And why not... Sean Doolittle is on the DL and is expected to miss several more weeks.
