The world isn’t over. But i forget who posts here sometimes.
By no means am I panicking but this lacks massive context of the Verlander trade. We were going to be first round exiting without that. Sure yeah we are cold. But we’ve been near this with the lineup at full strength. I’ve seen them go through enough stretches like this to conclude we need a move or two.

Harper isn't going to happen. Realmuto probably isn't either. Word is the Marlins are asking the Nationals for their top two prospects. Whitley/Tucker, Whitley/Alvarez, Tucker/Alvarez. The Marlins aren't under any pressure to trade him at the deadline if they don't get what they want. He's under control for 2 more seasons and there's likely a bigger pool of suitors for him in the off season.

Can't believe their was only one error in this game. Two wild pitches, Gurriels boot, and Springers off the wall debacle. No pinch runner for the fat white guy. Not covering the line at third when we are not in the shift by another fat white guy. Probably one of the most horrific games I have ever seen from a World Series champion. If you can't hit goddamnit bunt, make the defense work A.J. you analytical frick wad.

Who do you expect him to get? Degrom? Harper? Posey? He’s made 2 trades already, I wouldn’t expect much for the deadline other than some small rentals
