I'm wondering how the Idiot will stagger the batting order if/when we add another left-handed hitter. Maldy as cleanup man?

All this talk about Maldys defensive abilities justify his bat but he's actually negatively rated as a pitch framer. So basically we've got a .172 hitter as an everyday starter to play nanny for our pitchers.

Also if we trade Siri, can we make sure we trade him to an NL team or a non contender were unlikely to see in the post season. I have PTSD over big power big strikeout deadline acquired outfielders shitting all over us. Plus y'all know what former Astros do to us. Last thing I want to see is Siri hitting a 573 foot bomb and moonwalking around the bases in the world series.

I get it

But by the same token, if we're up by 1 bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and a runner on 2nd, please give me Siri in the box

You're playing with fire friend. Need I remind you of the collective stats of former Astros cast-offs like

Tony Kemp
Jack Mayfield
Abe Toro
Max Stassi
Ramon Laureano

an absolute murderers row there. Apparently.

ETA: and all of them are in the AL West. What the hell?

Hey speaking of the Orioles, they've got a LHP with a 1.35 ERA who averages 97 on his fastball. Anyone interested?

Look who’s playing (auditioning) at first today for the Reds (and is 2-3)

Saw Baez pitched for the OKC dodgers for the first time last night and got a pitch clock violation before throwing his first pitch
