I’m not usually a DAT poster but tonight has proven to me that Tucker is the worst potential home run robber i have ever seen. He should’ve had 2 tonight. He just stands there like a goober and half heartedly jumps straight up and missed both.

If they blow this game, forfeit tomorrow and leave town. Get to more trades and remember how many games you gave away waiting so long to do them.

Pressly has hit the inevitable rough patch. He's blowing this game.

Pressly is human. Not a big deal

He got visibly upset at Tucker, who plays w zero emotion

Pressly was a stud football player that would have grabbed Tucker by his nonchalant pussy and chewed him out w tobacco juice flying out his mouth

Meh.

Pressly needs to not pitch again until Saturday. Give him some more rest.

more trades

Yepppp. Gotta do it, even if you're spending more than you would have had to do if your GM would have had a competent offseason.

If you’d have described this game to me in detail a mere 24 hours ago, I’d have said you were higher than Dusty Baker. See y’all tomorrow.

This has nothing to do with tonight but more just a general shitty bullpen thought….sucks so bad Enoli didn’t build on/improve from the success he showed late last year

Yeah, and as a result, I fully expect to see him traded. Not actively rooting for it but almost resigned to it.

I'll take a couple weird west coast results if it means we can get guys like Altuve & Yed back into hitting 3-5 on the night

@enosarris

By Stuff+, the best possibly available relievers at the deadline:
1) Craig Kimbrel (126)
2) Daniel Hudson
3) Raisel Iglesias
4) Tanner Scott / Taylor Rogers
5) John Curtiss
6) Anthony Bass
7) Cole Sulser
8) Richard Rodriguez
9) Hansel Robles (Clay Holmes)
10) Tyler Duffey (103)

Stuff+ is a new age nerd stat..basically a wrc+ for measuring a pitchers velo, command, movement and spin vs a baseline average. 100 is average.

quote:

Velocity (45%) + Movement (25%) + Spin Rate (5%) + Command (25%) = Stuff+
Stuff+ works like wRC+ or FIP-, where 100 is average and each point above or below that is one percent better or worse than average. So a changeup that has a Stuff+ value of 118 is 18% better than the league average changeup and a slider that has a Stuff+ value of 89 is 11% worse than an average slider.

So my boy Daniel Hudson has had elite stuff this year. I realllly want him.

Yeah I like Hudson a lot. The Orioles have a group of relievers that interest me as well.

Hudson is a power move. It's probably fair to think the plan now is to find more of a stabilizer than a high end guy for the pen and move on to starters and potentially a hitter. But damn if you can stack Hudson, Graveman and Pressly at the back end. Mix in whatever Baez can bring

Hudson is still owed around 2 million the rest of the year so he's not cheap relative to our budget. So it may be more likely we end up with someone like Ian Kennedy who's extremely cheap this year
