I'm pumped for a decent start time. What's up with 8:10 CT starts at home?

I think this shortened season is a real benefit for someone like McCullers. More time to get to strength and less innings to worry about.

I think MLB was trying to find a happy medium between Central and pacific time zone. Home and road night games will be at 8 central/6 pacific so “more fans can watch”. While we lose an hour at home, we gain an hour of viewing for road games

Yeah, I guess the wedt coast games starting an hour earlier is nice. Still that's 9 my time so I probably won't see the end of many night games. At least until the playoffs.

Idk why this is bugging the shite out of me so much, but is the 2019 pennant red or orange? I can’t tell cause the only pics i’ve seen look like they were taken through a potato.

I was thinking it looked brick red too but it’s gotta be orange

The Astros will have to pummel every team they play. Any close games will not go their way. MLB does not want them in the playoffs.

I loved the segment last night with Kalas... sitting at home, suffering through his COVID death bed.

Grilling some bbq and drinking a Crawford bock, on the air.

Doesn't sound like its gonna be anytime soon. He's reporting to training camp in Corpus. Hasn't been doing any baseball activities so he's got to get up to speed.

Dusty made it sound like it would be awhile for Yordan and Urquidy. Neither have been doing baseball activities at all so they basically need to go through the full summer camp. I think it will be 3-4 weeks before we see them.

Yeah, but with 16/30 teams making it... I like our chances.

Y'all saw where Blake Snell said he doesn't plan on pushing himself and is only thinking 2-4 innings for awhile..... Dude is talented as anyone but doesn't have the mentality to be someone to pitch through a tough situation
