Stroman's night against the Indians is likely done after 100 pitches through 7.

I feel like Reddick is about to suffer a correction

I see his avg plummeting 30 points, and he doesn’t walk a lot, so I’m hoping Marisnick or Kemp or Tucker get some opportunities.

He has been pressing for power and does not look the other way like he was when he got off to such a great start.

Well, the part about open to it if it brings a home run, would lead me to believe it can’t happen

Luhnow is not prone to be part of any deal that leaves the other party feeling like they hit a HR, esp when Syndegaard is obviously not peaking, regardless of his potential.

Go all in and get Diaz too. We'll fix all the pitchers.

It depends on what they think is a home run and what the Astros think is a home run.

I figured your takes on Luhnow’s trading tendencies might end with your Verlander takes but I guess not

What was the take before, that it costs us more to make trades because other GMs aren’t friends with him? Then the Cole deal happened and that magically went away

Not really sure what I want. Feel like we might be looking for an unanswered prayer

With MadBum looking like he’s staying put, things are not so clear to me

We might only need a Robbie Ray this postseason, and I’m certain Correa can bring the TOR arm we need next year

Nah

Luhnow has no friends in baseball

His reputation now only hurts us. When Luhnow is willing to make the deal, other GMs are leery.

The meltdown was real and it was equal parts visceral and beautiful. It was two years ago and they won a championship, you can admit you don’t know what you’re talking about and nobody will care instead of trying to double down

Back to Thor, I think they would gladly give up one of Tucker or Whitley but not both. I do think we will be aggressive after him but the Padres have been connected to him for a year at this point and have way more in prospect capital

And FTR, when Crane announced the Luhnow hire, I was excited about it.

Contacted a friend in the business and was immediately told he was not liked by most

I have come to realize this was mainly the establishment, which has since learned the error of their ways. Now, of course, they all have implemented much of what Luhnow has done, but many still are reluctant to abandon old school thought, and really dislike what scorched Earth has done to the game as a whole.

I will forever be Team Luhnow due to 2017, but I’m still at odds with Hinch much of the time.

Not sure what I’m doubling down on

I’ve been transparent about my acceptance of the paradigm shift the game has been through.

You got some Aggie cock up ur arse tonight?

And also, once Crane and Luhnow actually pulled the trigger on the JV deal, my fears that we were bottom line only were forever gone, and I said as much

Tyler Ivey back and threw well for corpus bukauskas has one more inning to go but seems to be back on track. 4ip 7 ks 0r 1 h 0 bb. Definitely a solid piece in a deal.

The more I think about it they should be going after multiple bullpen guys and 1 solid starter who is a legit 2 or 3.

The 2 bullpen arms may be even more important.
