I’m so conflicted. As one said earlier, we know we’re in purgatory so it’s still sell time. If anything these meaningless wins are going to do either one of two things: boost the value of the assets we have or boost the idea we can make a run in the heads of Crane, Brown & Bagwell.

If we go 4-4 I highly doubt we’ll sell
What yall think? It would probably take us going 2-6 to be sellers?
That means losing the next 2 against the Sox, and losing 2/3 to Anaheim and Arlington
Maybe going 3-5 but getting swept by the Rangers would have us trying to panic sell on deadline day
Who knows. Nothings really been predictable this season, but if I had to bet money on something, I’d lean towards we make a few small trades trying to improve the team, and the rest of the season continues to be .500 with random sweeps and losing series to bad teams and we spend all off season regretting not going on a huge fire sale. And my biggest fear is that being the case for the next few seasons

The D-backs got to the world series in 2024 going 84-78. This team is capable of getting hot and making a run. Just can't justify tearing it down while 2 games back
