Yeah, i just think (and said it multiple times on here in the past) that while it's nice that we have an incredible staff right now, we didn't make our bones building around pitching and defense. I think WS game 5 is way more indicative of who we are than games 1 and 2 of the ALCS.

In the playoffs, we can stick him in left field at home and in BOS though. In NY, he can play right field (where he has plenty of experience).

Giles pitched an entirely clean inning last night on 12 pitches, picked up 2 strikeouts and got 4 swing/misses.
He may not be perfect every time out but these are the kind of outings he needs to be putting up more often than not if he wants to get back to the majors. There's no reason he shouldn't dominate AAA hitters for an inning. You'd think they would want to get him back into our bullpen before the trade deadline to gauge whether or not he'll be part of things moving forward.
