That is your opinion, but a very uneducated one. Derek Fisher, with his two home runs in five games, in addition to his all-world MILB stats, would be starting on 20 other MLB teams right now.

As an Astros fan, I wish Moran all the best, but I doubt he has the kind of stint that Fisher did, and what's frustrating is Moran is going to get more time than Fisher.

Yeah considering what the D'Backs gave up for JD Martinez, that offer isn't that impressive, though their farm system is not good. No clue why Detroit did this trade, especially with a week or so left until trade deadline. They could have gotten something better. If that is all it took for JD Martinez, we could have gotten him too.

I would think he probably has two more, going to 70 ish then maybe 90 pitches but who knows

Different GMs value players differently. I figured everyone would freak out, another bat wasn't a need on this team.

No reason to give up prospects now considering we're going to have to give up some good pieces for pitching help, which I'm sure we can all agree IS a need

this is such an odd thing to be this pissed about. We have zero reserve infielders right now. Moran has significantly changed his swing since last year. He was called up last year out of desperation not because of his AAA performance. In fact it had been a very poor year for him and was not in a good rhythm. This year he has remade his swing and has shown results in a league he frankly was very poor in last year. His results are extremely similar to Fisher in that league with an almost exact same sample size. Moran was a higher draft pick (albeit one draft class older) and while both were well regarded Moran was always higher up on all lists until he struggled last year.

Do I think Fisher is a better LF than Aoki hell yes. Is that the most pressing need? hell no. Is moran playing at a comparable level to justify it-definitely
