He will not be subject to those rules but he will likely be limited to a rather low contract amount for his first contract here.

The only time I watch the Astros is when they play the Mariners and I swear Springer gets thrown out on the basepaths at least once every series. Is he a terrible baserunner or is this more of a strange coincidence?
